In this workshop, we will take the concept of “groove” from an instinctive feeling to an intentional practice. While most passively listen to rhythms in their daily life, we will take a more intentional look at auditory impulses by tapping into mind/body connections. Gain a deeper connection to rhythm and movement by learning how nuanced components of sound show up in various music styles. Get ready to tune into your internal metronome to explore rhythm and movement with newfound depth and creativity.
