
Print our Internship Info here Internship Period: July 2nd, 2012 - September 28th, 2012 (Flexible end date) Position: Unpaid Internship Goal: To learn & apply skills relating to arts administration This upcoming summer, Push Dance Company will begin The Shipyard Project: Something Leftover from the Last, in partnership with 3rd St Youth Center & Clinic. TSummer Internships at Push Dance Company he project will be a 20-minute dance that links health risks to youth between 12-21 and BVHP Navy Shipyard cleanup, and we hope to welcome enthusiastic, creative interns to the team to help the project succeed. Seamlessly integrating multimedia with cutting-edge choreography, artistic director Raissa Simpson’s pieces do not reside merely on stage—they are also site-specific installations in public spaces like museums and city centers. Her work is sweeping, vibrant, multi-layered, and socially relevant often involving multiple aspects such as video projection, live music, and aerial dance. In exchange, interns will develop valuable skills in arts administration, social justice initiatives, environmental justice, and learn creative ideas. We are accepting applications for three (3) unpaid internship positions: Marketing, Production & Social Media. Desired Qualifications: Required
